Mayor Karl Dean’s leadership has been instrumental in Nashville’s growth. Along with his pillars of improving schools, making neighborhoods safer and bringing more jobs to Nashville, Mayor Dean's numerous initiatives promoting health, sustainability and volunteerism have improved Music City's high quality of life.
As Nashville has been recognized as the “it” place to be, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee is honoring the man who’s been an important part of “it.”
With gratitude for his dedication to our community, we invite you to join The Community Foundation on Thursday, Nov. 13 as we honor Mayor Karl Dean with the 21st annual Joe Kraft Humanitarian Award.
Established in 1993, the Joe Kraft Humanitarian Award recognizes community leaders who embody the strength of character and unwavering integrity of the late Joe Kraft.
